Nate Stieler

Nate joined OPN Architects in 2012 and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University. He enjoys working on multiple project types—from churches and schools to corporate offices and skilled care facilities—and all phases of design, from feasibility studies through project completion. His interest in accessibility is not only applied as an integral part of his design philosophy, but also in his responsibilities as an active member of the Des Moines Access Advisory Board.

Q: What inspires your work?

A: Learning new skills, understanding new systems and practices, creating something new, and always doing the next project better. Continual improvement is my inspiration.

Q: If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A: Tacos, because I can make them so many different ways I might never get bored.
